Abstract:

Cultivating students' mathematical modeling ability is an important goal of non-humanities majors in colleges and universities. Take a college as an example, this paper designs a questionnaire survey, analyzes the factors affecting college students' participation in the mathematical modeling contest, and puts forward some reflections and suggestions.
