Abstract:
This study clearly explains at what extent that the job satisfaction of the employee may influence his or her performance which has been driven by motivation, group behavior and individual competency. This paper is an attempt through empirical approach towards the study and the selected area is educational institutons of engineering and management in chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. The study findings revealed that group behavior and competency of an employee would influence job satisfaction so that there would also an improvement in performance. A structural Equation Model was developed to test the linear relationship between observed variables like motivation, group behavior and competency and unobserved variables like Job Satisfaction and Performnace improvement
