Abstract:
This research is aimed at improving language teaching methods in the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) area. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of a Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) lesson plan for use in a Legal English class. The TBLT lesson plan was analyzed using the action research method. The action research method here is focused on improving the practice of language instruction. The implications of this study can be applied to curriculum development, particularly in the area of ESP-type courses.
