Abstract:
This article empirically examines the relationship between Good Salary, Job Satisfaction, Team Spirit, Promotions/Expectation, Management Styles, Recognition, Satisfying Goals, Possibilities of Layoffs, Working Hours, Good Working Conditions, Job Security etc., by the students of the department Mechanical Engineering of Maharaja Engineering College, Avinashi, Tamilnadu by using self-designed questionnaires containing 20 attributes. The sample size was 150 so 150 questionnaires were distributed and only 111were selected. Analysis was done using Microsoft excel and the result concludes that there is a significant positive relationship between students’ motivation and their career growth. Equal treatments of employees, Satisfying Goals and a Feeling of being involved were selected by the above Engineering students. Hence it may be concluded that the motivation is the very important factor in estimating the behavior of the individual.
