abstract = "One of the most important events in recent years is the constant use of ICT's, it was around the seventies of the last century when audiovisual resources were more popular in some schools. Today the internet is fully integrated into people’s daily life.
This work shows evidence of how the use of the Internet and its applications have influenced the way to perform academic duties in the university students, particularly to 95 students of the bachelor´s degree in Public Accounting, belonging to the Universidad Ju{\'a}rez Aut{\'o}noma of Tabasco.
The instruments used for the measurement were an interview and a semi-structured questionnaire applied at different times during the months March to September 2018. The results indicate the need to improve the curricular plan towards the individual processes that the student develops through the use of the internet
