Abstract:
The longitudinal relationship between exploitative & exploratory learning and innovation performance has not been researched dynamically and quantitatively by the time-domain frame in the innovation process. The dynamic exploration of the characteristic of individual learning type by exploring time-frame based quantitative data on the trade-off and interaction between exploitative and exploratory learning for different individual learning types are adopted in this study. LPM (Learning Progress Motivation)algorithm converts the interaction of exploitative and exploratory learning of 154 R&D engineers into the process-phase quantitative data through the innovation process. Three learning types are classified by the unique complementarity characteristic between exploitative and exploratory learning.
